Overview

ScaleKit Weight Tracker helps users log weight entries, review progress, and optionally use voice, camera, or image input for faster logging. We design the app to collect only the information needed to provide these features.

Information you provide

• Weight entries, target weight, dates, and optional notes.
• Optional voice input used to detect a spoken weight value.
• Optional scale images or camera captures submitted for AI reading.

How information is used

Weight information is used to show current weight, progress, history, and statistics. Optional images may be sent to the app server and to OpenAI for the limited purpose of reading the weight displayed on a scale image when the AI feature is enabled.

Local storage

In the web version, weight logs and target weight are stored in the browser's local storage unless a future account or sync feature is added. Clearing browser data may remove locally stored logs.

Third-party services

The camera and gallery AI features may use OpenAI image analysis to read a scale display. Speech input may use speech recognition provided by the browser or operating system.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal data. We only share information with service providers when needed to operate app features, such as AI image analysis requested by the user.
